About Imported Chameleons . . .

The chameleons offered on this page are all imported. While we are very careful to offer only specimens which are in apparent good health, please be reminded that wild caught chameleons are much more difficult to establish in captivity than their captive bred counterparts. If you are a beginner or simply looking for a pet, we strongly urge you to avoid wild caught chameleons in favor of the much hardier captive bred individuals (see Captive Bred Chameleons).

Our purpose in making select imported chameleons available is three fold. First, to provide reliable unrelated chameleons to serious breeders or experienced collectors. Secondly, to provide breeders access to rarely available species for their captive propagation efforts. Thirdly, to serve as an agent on your behalf, by hand selecting most of the import chameleons we offer.
This is a tremendous advantage over the typical "sight unseen" route.

Despite our commitment to provide outwardly healthy wild collected chameleons, it is strongly recommended that you have fecal exams done and follow proper deparasiting procedures as advised by your veterinarian. We urge you to quarantine any new chameleon for 60 to 90 days before introducing it to your established collection.
