Baby Bio: OK. This group! I knew that I would love them because I love both sides of the family tree so much, but really, they exceeded my already super high expectations! This was the third baby that I photographed and I just really can’t say enough about him! He is perfect! A calm, curious personality and my goodness is he stunning! He is like solid orange! And it is the most incredible shade of orange! It’s like a tropical sunset! It actually reminds me it’s so much of his uncle, Tequila Sunrise. In fact, his entire look was so much like his uncle's, I almost felt like I was photographing a young Tequila! Even down to the way that his blue bars turned almost completely white at times, he was like a tiny clone! I will say, Tequila changed dramatically throughout his life. We kept him because he was so different and at the time, we weren’t really looking for the specific look that he was showing, but he was so interesting that we couldn’t not hold onto him. Based on the bloodline and our experience with his uncle, I would be kind of surprised if this baby stayed orange, but....I literally am so invested at this point, I just have to to know what he turns into! If I had to put money on it, my guess is that he will turn into a little rainbow, much like his uncle and dad. Regardless, whoever ends up with him MUST keep us posted!

How totally awesome to be able to release some of our first ever offspring from Son Owl during this launch! He's our Nite Owl mini-me and we could not be more excited to have him on our team! He has some big shoes (or "mittens") to fill, but we have faith in him! And teaming up with the QUEEN "Fohy-mofo" (AKA Shortbread) for his first ever group, these babies couldn't not be outstanding. She is so very special and comes from incredible bloodlines herself. Lots and lots of yellow potential here! We can't wait to see what these little owls are all about!!!

Feeding Guide/Cricket Size:  1/4" sized crickets to start
Currently eating 6 days a week, around 10 - 15 crickets per feeding. We dust our crickets with Repashy's Calcium Plus before feeding them out. All of our bugs are also gutloaded with Repashy's Bug Burger and fresh fruits and vegetables.
