Baby Bio: My oh my, where to begin with this boy?! Let's call him "Black Beard", shall we?! While it may have not been perfectly conveyed in his photos, he actually has the this lovely tropical vibe to him! The thing is…he is not a fan! Not a fan of me, not a fan of my mom, your mom, the horse I rode in on, ETC.! And let's get one thing perfectly straight...he is NOT a fan of the camera! That may actually be #1 on his you-know-what list! This definitely led to some dark and angry looking colors. That said, I have seen him in a relaxed state, and his colors are truly gorgeous! You can get a hint of that in a few of his pictures, but the colors that he was showing during our time together are not what I would consider to be his "normal" colors. They were his “hey lady, get that thing out of my face!!” colors, LOL! I did not want to cause unnecessary stress so we kept our time together short. And while he may be better suited for a family that doesn’t plan on doing a lot of handling, I will say, I have seen plenty of spicy babies turn into total social butterflies! A little handling and a little trust building goes such a long way with these guys! I personally love the spicy ones! That said, based on what I experienced with him, I sure don’t think he would mind a home where he got to be a beautiful display animal either!

How totally awesome to be able to release some of our first ever offspring from Son Owl during this launch! He's our Nite Owl mini-me and we could not be more excited to have him on our team! He has some big shoes (or "mittens") to fill, but we have faith in him! And teaming up with the QUEEN "Fohy-mofo" (AKA Shortbread) for his first ever group, these babies couldn't not be outstanding. She is so very special and comes from incredible bloodlines herself. Lots and lots of yellow potential here! We can't wait to see what these little owls are all about!!!

Feeding Guide/Cricket Size:  1/4" sized crickets to start
Currently eating 6 days a week, around 10 - 15 crickets per feeding. We dust our crickets with Repashy's Calcium Plus before feeding them out. All of our bugs are also gutloaded with Repashy's Bug Burger and fresh fruits and vegetables.
