Baby Bio: A precious little toad! This baby was on the move! Very similar to his slightly smaller and younger brother who I photographed just prior, this baby genuinely seemed to get a kick out of exploring the photo set up! He was so curious, licking all of the different surfaces that he came into contact with. I would say that he has was seems to be such a good personality. Mild and easy-going for the most part, definitely with an active little spirit! And though he is young and still just at the beginning, he is already showing a substantial amount of color! Beautiful pastels, with a good amount of yellow and blue already developing quite nicely in his bars. With some decent size to him already as well, he seems to have established himself as a bit of an alpha, further solidifying his "pick of the litter" status! He's very much showing exactly what we love to see in offspring from this special pairing! With plenty more to come!!

About This Pairing (F11-CG17 Ambilobe Group): We love Son Owl! He's our Nite Owl mini-me and we could not be more excited to have him on our team! He has some big shoes (or "mittens") to fill, but we have faith in him and so far, he has been doing an most excellent job! With this latest group, we are hoping for a nice yellow boost and some truly spectacular little guys and gals! It's two of our personal favorite "high yellow" Ambilobe bloodlines combined, so it's hard to imagine them not being pretty stinking awesome!!

UVB Lighting: Depending on cage size, we typically use T5 HO Reptisun 5.0 with a basking distance of 10 - 12 inches. 

Temperatures: We provide a small, designated basking area under your heat bulb of approximately 88-92°F with cooler areas available throughout the enclosure. Ambient room temperature in the 70's is great!

Hydration: We recommend one longer morning misting session (5-10 minutes) approximately 30-60 minutes after lights come on, along with 2-3 shorter misting sessions spread throughout the day. Our goal is to provide multiple daily drinking opportunities + humidity spikes while allowing the enclosure to dry between mistings.

Feeding: Currently eating 1/4” crickets. Fed 6 days per week, approximately 10-15 insects per feeding. Crickets are dusted lightly with Repashy's Calcium Plus and gutloaded with Repashy's Bug Burger and fresh fruits/veggies.
