About This Pairing (F10-CG16): Silky Johnson is a dad! For those who may be unfamiliar with the lore, Silky Johnson is the son of our legendary Buc Nasty who was given his name after latching onto my dad's finger in front of a crowd of onlookers at a Reptile Super Show. My dad turned to us inside of the booth and said "He will be called 'Buc Nasty', the most diabolical player hater in all of Kammerflage!" He has been a Kammerflage legend ever since! When it came to selecting a successor, we had two very specific requirements on our wish list. Blue and MEAN. We needed our son of Buc Nasty to carry out his father's grit, and boy did we get it when we encountered Silky Johnson! Ranging from a deep, dark blue color to a much brighter and more "Bombay Sapphire" type of blue, he has the looks and the "charm" that we were hoping for! Regarding his group with this lovely daughter of Neelix, I am already feeling SO stressed! There is no way I am not going to want to hold onto every last one of these little player haters!! The question is...will they inherit their father's grit? Or will grandpa Neelix's sweetheart genes win the day?! I guess we will have to wait and see!

UVB Lighting: Depending on cage size, we typically use T5 HO Reptisun 5.0 with a basking distance of 10 - 12 inches. 

Temperatures: We provide a small, designated basking area under your heat bulb of approximately 88-92°F with cooler areas available throughout the enclosure. Ambient room temperature in the 70's is great!

Hydration: We recommend one longer morning misting session (5-10 minutes) approximately 30-60 minutes after lights come on, along with 2-3 shorter misting sessions spread throughout the day. Our goal is to provide multiple daily drinking opportunities + humidity spikes while allowing the enclosure to dry between mistings.

Feeding: Currently eating 1/4” crickets. Fed 6 days per week, approximately 10-15 insects per feeding. Crickets are dusted lightly with Repashy's Calcium Plus and gutloaded with Repashy's Bug Burger and fresh fruits and veggies.
