Baby Bio: SO happy to have had a baby from this sire to photograph for this particular update! Claude Rains is such a gem. A real favorite around the Kammerflage HQ due to his beautiful looks and outgoing personality. I had been curious for the longest time about his offspring, and whether or not some of them would inherit his easy-going personality. So far, the answer to that has in most cases been a resounding YES, with this adorable baby being yet another lovely example! Of course, he is very young, so it’s hard to know for sure what his adult personality will be like, but based on what I saw during our little photo session, it is hard to imagine him developing too much of a spicy side. As for his colors, he is beautiful! Again, still 100% in baby mode, but already, I am seeing such delightful little hints of what’s to come. He has a lot of blue right now, which reminds me of his father as well who also started out with a lot of blue. Claude has transformed dramatically throughout his life, and I am so curious to see if his boys will do the same. This little one is off to a beautiful start!

About this pairing (F10-CG17): SO thrilled to have more babies from our beloved Claude Rains! He has become such a favorite around the Kammerflage HQ. His super outgoing and friendly personality makes it impossible not to love him. He's always front and center, hoping one of us will make eye contact because he knows if that happens, he's in. He's totally getting a juicy worm. With the spectacular Gladys Knight, we are super excited to see what these little ones are all about! Her father has been a cherished member of our Ambanja crew, responsible for many beautiful offspring and grandbabies. Should be an Ambanja match made in heaven!

UVB Lighting: Depending on cage size, we typically use T5 HO Reptisun 5.0 with a basking distance of 10 - 12 inches.

Temperatures: We provide a small, designated basking area under your heat bulb of approximately 88-92°F with cooler areas available throughout the enclosure. Ambient room temperature in the 70's is great!

Hydration: We recommend one longer morning misting session (5-10 minutes) approximately 30-60 minutes after lights come on, along with 2-3 shorter misting sessions spread throughout the day. Our goal is to provide multiple daily drinking opportunities + humidity spikes while allowing the enclosure to dry between mistings.

Feeding: Currently eating 1/4” crickets. Fed 6 days per week, approximately 10-15 insects per feeding. Crickets are dusted lightly with Repashy's Calcium Plus and gutloaded with Repashy's Bug Burger and fresh fruits and veggies.

*Care Guide: Good care and housing are KEY to a panther chameleon's health and happiness! Keeping husbandry familiar helps them acclimate smoothly and successfully, so if you're considering one of our Kreations, please take a look at our COMPLETE care guide!
