Baby Bio: Oh, you pretty thing! This baby reminds me SO much of his father when he was just a baby! It may be hard to imagine when looking at adult pictures, but Claude Rains was actually very blue when he was little! He also had a strikingly similar pattern. I can recall quite a bit of contrast in it at times, looking lovely alongside his light blues. This baby is like a spitting image of his old man at that point in his life! I wonder if he will continue to follow in his father's footsteps or if he will go in a totally different direction! Ambanjas in general tend to change so much throughout their lives, so it will be very interesting to see where his looks and genetics take him. His personality seemed great as well! He was super chipper and super cooperative during his little photo shoot. I just love him!

Slight Cosmetic Imperfection: He has a tiny, healed imperfection right at the very tip of his tail. He occasionally holds the tip just a little differently, as seen in these photos, but otherwise, it would be difficult to notice. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect him otherwise, but is the reason for his slightly reduced price.



About this pairing (F10-CG17): SO thrilled to have more babies from our beloved Claude Rains! He has become such a favorite around the Kammerflage HQ. His super outgoing and friendly personality makes it impossible not to love him. He's always front and center, hoping one of us will make eye contact because he knows if that happens, he's in. He's totally getting a juicy worm. With the spectacular Gladys Knight, we are super excited to see what these little ones are all about! Her father has been a cherished member of our Ambanja crew, responsible for many beautiful offspring and grandbabies. Should be an Ambanja match made in heaven!

UVB Lighting: Depending on cage size, we typically use T5 HO Reptisun 5.0 with a basking distance of 10 - 12 inches. 

Temperatures: We provide a small, designated basking area under your heat bulb of approximately 88-92°F with cooler areas available throughout the enclosure. Ambient room temperature in the 70's is great!

Hydration: We recommend one longer morning misting session (5-10 minutes) approximately 30-60 minutes after lights come on, along with 2-3 shorter misting sessions spread throughout the day. Our goal is to provide multiple daily drinking opportunities + humidity spikes while allowing the enclosure to dry between mistings.

Feeding: Currently eating 1/4” crickets. Fed 6 days per week, approximately 10-15 insects per feeding. Crickets are dusted lightly with Repashy's Calcium Plus and gutloaded with Repashy's Bug Burger and fresh fruits and veggies.
