Baby Bio: I am so happy that we get to offer some littles from Star Gazer! The babies that I photographed during this particular shoot are still very young, and still very much in peak baby mode. For our customers who are looking for a chameleon to really enjoy the glow-up process with, any of the babies from this little batch would make a most excellent candidate! And what an absolute dumpling this little one is! He was like a puppy who had just had a big meal. So perfectly round, you can’t help but want to give that belly a tiny little squeeze (..don’t worry, I resisted!!). He’s another one who is showing a good amount of color for his age! I feel like with him, I see an almost perfect blend of both sides of his family tree! He definitely resembles his father, but I see mom’s strong red body blue bar influence in there as well! Obviously it is way too early to make any real predictions, but I almost wouldn’t be too surprised if he ended up resembling our keeper (shown above in the sibling section). Personality seemed so great as well! He was super chill during my time spent with him. Little buddy gets a two thumbs up from me!

About This Pairing (F11-CG17): Two Kammerflage greats (if I do say so myself!) come together in this special pairing! And boy, we could not be more excited! Star Gazer himself does have a good amount of red body blue bar in his family tree. With the blue being the star of the show, his mate "Question Mark" brings  some of our finest red body blue bar genes to the table, being that she is a daughter of Ny-nofy AKA The Dream - aka our "dream" red body blue bar! There are all sorts of other fun possibilities in the mix as well, but I think we should definitely plan on strong, striking blues and some really nice reds as well! Can't wait to find out more as these little guys grow and come into their own!

UVB Lighting: Depending on cage size, we typically use T5 HO Reptisun 5.0 with a basking distance of 10 - 12 inches. 

Temperatures: We provide a small, designated basking area under your heat bulb of approximately 88-92°F with cooler areas available throughout the enclosure. Ambient room temperature in the 70's is great!

Hydration: We recommend one longer morning misting session (5-10 minutes) approximately 30-60 minutes after lights come on, along with 2-3 shorter misting sessions spread throughout the day. Our goal is to provide multiple daily drinking opportunities + humidity spikes while allowing the enclosure to dry between mistings.

Feeding: Currently eating 1/4” crickets. Fed 6 days per week, approximately 10-15 insects per feeding. Crickets are dusted lightly with Repashy's Calcium Plus and gutloaded with Repashy's Bug Burger and fresh fruits and veggies.
