Baby Bio: Just a happy little camper!! Photographing baby chameleons on such a regular basis, I get to see a vast assortment of personality types. It’s incredibly common for them to be skeptical at the very least, especially about me and the big camera being aimed in their direction. This little guy must have totally missed that memo! He was so chipper, so curious, so cute, and so totally relaxed. He genuinely seemed to enjoy his time, romping around. And his colors! Though he’s still very much in baby mode, I love what I am starting to see! He has the most pleasant little hints of color starting to shine through, and I was especially happy to see a good amount of red in him already. What a guy!

About This Pairing (F10-CG16 Ambilobe Group): Ok, talk about a fun group! If you aren't a fan of red, this might be one to skip! While other outcomes are always possible, red was definitely high on the personal wish list when it came to this special pairing! With both sides of the family tree having so much of it, it's kind of hard to imagine the offspring going into a totally different direction but time will tell! There is definitely all kids of lovely potential here, no matter what these little guys have in store for us!

UVB Lighting: Depending on cage size, we typically use T5 HO Reptisun 5.0 with a basking distance of 10 - 12 inches. 

Temperatures: We provide a small, designated basking area under your heat bulb of approximately 88-92°F with cooler areas available throughout the enclosure. Ambient room temperature in the 70's is great!

Hydration: We recommend one longer morning misting session (5-10 minutes) approximately 30-60 minutes after lights come on, along with 2-3 shorter misting sessions spread throughout the day. Our goal is to provide multiple daily drinking opportunities + humidity spikes while allowing the enclosure to dry between mistings.

Feeding: Currently eating 1/4” crickets. Fed 6 days per week, approximately 10-15 insects per feeding. Crickets are dusted lightly with Repashy's Calcium Plus and gutloaded with Repashy's Bug Burger and fresh fruits and veggies.
