Baby Bio: OK, such a sweet baby! He gets a gold star! 10 out of 10 for his patience and endurance! I had to get situated while I had him out so he ended up hanging with me for a little while longer than what is typical during these little photo shoots. That being the case, he was totally unbothered and was just such a good sport! And boy is he pretty! It’s funny because I can totallysee his dad‘s influence in him with his beautiful blues! Mom's side has a LOT of it too! And while I think it’s possible that he may end up going in the red body blue bar direction, I think other outcomes are possible as well! As of now, I really am unsure, as he is just at the beginning with lots of changing left to do! I found his colors to be very pleasant, a nice mixture of cool tones and warm tones. And again, personality…10 out of 10!

Note: We are approaching the last offspring from our beloved Blue Breeze (now retired). That said, if you have been considering one of his kiddos, this is a wonderful opportunity!

About this pairing (F10-CG17): We love Blue Breeze! When he was just a wee lad, he was a major standout to us. He was an almost immediate red body blue bar with this cotton candy-like color scheme. He has kept that throughout adulthood, now with the extra emphasis being on his blues. We like to call this look "high blue" red body blue bar. With his mate being a daughter of another high blue Ambilobe, we are super excited to see what these little ones are all about! Our guess?? LOTS of blue! But there are plenty of other possibilities too! Should be such a fun group!

UVB Lighting: Depending on cage size, we typically use T5 HO Reptisun 5.0 with a basking distance of 10 - 12 inches. 

Temperatures: We provide a small, designated basking area under your heat bulb of approximately 88-92°F with cooler areas available throughout the enclosure. Ambient room temperature in the 70's is great!

Hydration: We recommend one longer morning misting session (5-10 minutes) approximately 30-60 minutes after lights come on, along with 2-3 shorter misting sessions spread throughout the day. Our goal is to provide multiple daily drinking opportunities + humidity spikes while allowing the enclosure to dry between mistings.

Feeding: Currently eating 1/4” crickets. Fed 6 days per week, approximately 10-15 insects per feeding. Crickets are dusted lightly with Repashy's Calcium Plus and gutloaded with Repashy's Bug Burger and fresh fruits and veggies.
