Baby Bio: This baby is so cool looking! He is very striking! With bars that get really dark and contrasty, they are a beautiful shade of blue! He has a ton of red in his backdrop already, which is very much a theme that we have been seeing pretty continuously in this group. Earlier than average red body blue bar potential is what we would call it! His personality was a little spicy! Not like…level 10. He was just not crazy about the big camera being pointed in his direction. Nothing that some yummy crickets and a little trust building can’t turn around!

About This Pairing (F10-CG17): We love Blue Breeze! When he was just a wee lad, he was a major standout to us. He was an almost immediate red body blue bar with this cotton candy-like color scheme. He has kept that throughout adulthood, now with the extra emphasis being on his blues. We like to call this look "high blue" red body blue bar. His mate brings some amazing possibilities to the table! She also could be considered a "high blue" Ambilobe so we are hoping to see lots of that in the offspring! Her father Ankavia is another Kammerflage favorite so we are very excited to see what this fantastic pairing ends up doing!

UVB Lighting: Depending on cage size, we typically use T5 HO Reptisun 5.0 with a basking distance of 10 - 12 inches. 

Temperatures: We provide a small, designated basking area under your heat bulb of approximately 88-92°F with cooler areas available throughout the enclosure. Ambient room temperature in the 70's is great!

Hydration: We recommend one longer morning misting session (5-10 minutes) approximately 30-60 minutes after lights come on, along with 2-3 shorter misting sessions spread throughout the day. Our goal is to provide multiple daily drinking opportunities + humidity spikes while allowing the enclosure to dry between mistings.

Feeding: Currently eating 1/4” crickets. Fed 6 days per week, approximately 10-15 insects per feeding. Crickets are dusted lightly with Repashy's Calcium Plus and gutloaded with Repashy's Bug Burger and fresh fruits/veggies.
