Baby Bio: Is it sweet baby angel day or what?! I’m telling you, it’s like on some days, all of the babies make a silent agreement that they are just going to be so precious and so well-behaved. And then there are other days where it is the exact opposite 😂! I love our spicy babies and I love our sweethearts, so no matter what the agreement is, I know I am going to have a good day…as long as I am photographing baby chameleons. But today, it was definitely sweetheart day! And this baby was just another perfect little example! He was maybe ever so slightly cautious about the big camera, but he was really cooperative and really patient during his first photo sesh. And even though his colors are still at the very beginning, he has the most tremendous pattern! It’s one of my favorite looks with the dark black outlines and the much lighter inner color. It looks like a watercolor painting! While it’s tough to say exactly what direction he is going, he will look like an entirely different animal in just a couple months and is at the perfect age for any of our customers who wish to enjoy as much of the grow-up/glow-up experience as possible!

About This Pairing (F10-CG16 Ambilobe Group): What a fun new group from Ice Fire and Yellow Explosion! We have two slightly different worlds coming together with dad bringing the heat with his fiery reds and oranges, and mom bringing the tropical rainbow vibes! Both sides of this family tree are known for being incredibly vibrant so we are anticipating a real color explosion in the offspring! I can't wait!

UVB Lighting: Depending on cage size, we typically use T5 HO Reptisun 5.0 with a basking distance of 10 - 12 inches. 

Temperatures: We provide a small, designated basking area under your heat bulb of approximately 88-92°F with cooler areas available throughout the enclosure. Ambient room temperature in the 70's is great!

Hydration: We recommend one longer morning misting session (5-10 minutes) approximately 30-60 minutes after lights come on, along with 2-3 shorter misting sessions spread throughout the day. Our goal is to provide multiple daily drinking opportunities + humidity spikes while allowing the enclosure to dry between mistings.

Feeding: Currently eating 1/4” crickets. Fed 6 days per week, approximately 10-15 insects per feeding. Crickets are dusted lightly with Repashy's Calcium Plus and gutloaded with Repashy's Bug Burger and fresh fruits and veggies.
