Baby Bio: Big, pretty boy! With a strong distaste for the camera, he’s one of those individuals who will get big and scary when the camera is on him, but also, very dark and squirrley depending on how he is feeling in the moment. We did our best during this little photo sesh to keep things quick and I was super grateful that he kept some of his nicer coloring. He actually gets even nicer than this, especially when a camera is not pointed in his general direction! Aside from his strong distaste for the camera, he doesn’t seem to have a completely unreasonable personality! He was very calm in my dad‘s hands and only got big and scary when he saw his dreaded enemy, my camera. That said, he’s at a great age to start doing some trust building with, and I’m sure some tasty bugs will go a long way with him.

Note: He has a minor cosmetic tail nip from a previous sibling interaction. Shed can occasionally catch on the affected tip, so the area should be monitored during shedding. He is otherwise a healthy boy, and this is the reason for his discounted price.

About This Pairing (F10-CG16): Two beautiful worlds collide with this special pairing! You have dad who is a striking red body blue bar, and mom who comes from strong "rainbow" or "multicolored" Ambilobe lines! This being the case, we are hoping for a really nice range of looks in the offspring and can't wait to see what these little guys and gals are all about!

UVB Lighting: Depending on cage size, we typically use T5 HO Reptisun 5.0 with a basking distance of 10 - 12 inches. 

Temperatures: We provide a small, designated basking area under your heat bulb of approximately 88-92°F with cooler areas available throughout the enclosure. Ambient room temperature in the 70's is great!

Hydration: We recommend one longer morning misting session (5-10 minutes) approximately 30-60 minutes after lights come on, along with 2-3 shorter misting sessions spread throughout the day. Our goal is to provide multiple daily drinking opportunities + humidity spikes while allowing the enclosure to dry between mistings.

Feeding: Currently eating 1/4” crickets. Fed 6 days per week, approximately 10-15 insects per feeding. Crickets are dusted lightly with Repashy's Calcium Plus and gutloaded with Repashy's Bug Burger and fresh fruits and veggies.
