Baby Bio: Ok, this baby, what?! He is SO pretty, but hilariously, he looks almost nothing like his dad! Beautiful, just not what you think of when you think of Flaming River! All of that blue makes me think of Ankavia/Braveheart, etc. Funny enough, this baby comes from a totally different family tree! Whoever ends up falling in love with him and giving his forever home must PROMISE to send updates! We are all so curious to see if his dad's looks will pop up at some point, or if he is always going to march to the beat of his own little drum (his very blue drum!). I will add, he wasn’t particularly thrilled about being photographed. He seemed a little shy, but then he got a little feisty, but he stayed somewhat dark. He was one of my last for that day and I don’t think he appreciated me getting him in front of the camera right before bedtime! We kept things short, but I will say, what I saw out of him earlier in the day was insane! More yellow, and the blue on him turned nearly white! If I'm able to, I would love to photograph him again before he leaves us!

Oh. My. Gosh. It's finally happened! The day has come for us to release our first ever group from the remarkably good looking "Roborobo-ony" (AKA Flaming River)!! A standout from the start, Flaming River is a key player in our "red bar" Ambilobe project. With his bright yellow backdrop and high yellow family tree, he also lends to some very nice high yellow potential! The mother to this group (Miss Universe!) brings so many fun possibilities as well! She also comes from a high yellow bloodline, AND, her father was known to go back and forth from blue to red bars! That being the case, we are hoping that this combo will up the odds for more red bar offspring! Whichever way they go, I'm sure they are going to be just fantastic, but we are really looking forward to the potential for more red bar babies.

Feeding Guide/Cricket Size:  1/4" sized crickets to start
Currently eating 6 days a week, around 10 - 15 crickets per feeding. We dust our crickets with Repashy's Calcium Plus before feeding them out. All of our bugs are also gutloaded with Repashy's Bug Burger and fresh fruits and vegetables.
